CEPA seminar "Internationally operating groups of offenders specialising in residential house and flat burglaries"

​The Austrian Ministry of the Interior, in cooperation with the Provincial Criminal Police Office of Lower Austria, organised the international CEPA seminar "Internationally acting groups of offenders specialising in house and flat burglary" from 9 to 12 May 2022 at the Vienna Security Academy.



During the four days of the seminar, the speakers and the seminar participants exchanged their experiences in the field of burglary crime. Approaches to prevention and strategies to combat this type of crime were discussed and special investigation methods were discussed.

The experts gave lectures on investigative approaches and proposed solutions for transnational cooperation. The seminar participants presented current investigative procedures using practical examples from the individual CEPA countries.

A total of 27 seminar participants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Germany took part in this CEPA training. They also had the opportunity to get to know working life at the Vienna Police School and to make new professional as well as collegial contacts.
