In Budapest on May 22nd, 2001 the responsible ministers of the eight member countries of the Middle European College signed a "Joint Declaration of Cooperation within the framework of the Middle European Police College (MEPA)" (German abbreviation for Mitteleuropäische Polizeiakademie (MEPA).
